The use of temperature fuses should pay attention to the following points:

Installation precautions:

·When bending the lead wire, it should be bent from a distance of more than 6 millimeters from the root to avoid damaging the root and lead wire. ‌

·The connecting components should work reliably within the working range of the electrical product, without displacement due to vibration or impact. ‌

·When conducting lead welding operations, the heating humidity should be limited to the minimum, and attention should be paid not to apply high temperatures to the thermal fuse; After welding, it should be cooled immediately for more than 30 seconds. ‌

·Thermal fuses can only be used under the specified rated voltage, current, and specified temperature conditions, with particular attention paid to the maximum continuous temperature that the thermal fuse can withstand.

To avoid damaging the temperature fuse:

·When installing the heater, be careful not to connect it directly and set up a thermal barrier to prevent the hot wire from heating up to the temperature fuse. ‌

·Avoid parallel connection or continuous overcurrent or overvoltage to increase the current flow, as this may damage the internal contacts of the temperature fuse and affect its normal operation.

Construction and working principle of temperature fuse:

·Temperature fuses are usually composed of movable contacts, springs, fuses, etc. When the external temperature reaches the predetermined temperature, the molten material melts and the compression spring becomes loose, causing the movable contact to separate from the left lead and cut off the circuit.

Use in special circumstances:

·For thin temperature fuses, there are axisymmetric leads, metal compounds that can melt at a specified temperature, special mixtures, and insulation containers to prevent melting and oxidation.

Following these usage precautions and operating guidelines can ensure the safe and effective operation of temperature fuses in various applications, protecting circuits from overheating damage.
