The structural principle of temperature fuse

1. Fuse body:

The fuse body is the core component of a temperature fuse, mainly composed of two metal electrodes and a thermosensitive material. Gold electrodes are usually made of lead and tin alloys, while thermosensitive materials are materials with specific response temperatures. 2. Fuse holder:

3. Leads:

4. Normal working condition:

When electronic devices or circuits are in normal working condition, the temperature fuse is in a closed state, forming a path between metal electrodes through which current can freely pass through the fuse.

5. Overloaded or overheated state:

When electronic devices or circuits are overloaded or the temperature rises to a certain level, thermosensitive materials will be activated and undergo deformation. This increases the distance between the metal electrodes, preventing current from flowing through the fuse and thus disconnecting the circuit.

6. Protective function:

By disconnecting the circuit, the temperature fuse plays a role in protecting electronic devices and circuits. Disconnecting the circuit can prevent electronic devices from overheating or short circuiting, avoid device damage caused by excessive current, and protect equipment and personal safety.

In summary, temperature fuses protect electronic devices and circuits by utilizing the characteristics of thermal sensitive materials to disconnect circuits in the event of circuit overload or temperature rise. It is a reliable and important electronic component widely used in household appliances, automotive electronic power supplies, and other fields.
