The storage environment requirements for high-temperature synthetic thermal oil mainly include the following aspects:

Storage location: Thermal oil should be stored in a cool, dry, and well ventilated place, away from sources of fire and heat. The storage location should avoid direct sunlight to prevent the internal structure of the thermal oil from decomposing and restructuring due to temperature rise, which may affect its quality.

Storage container: Thermal oil should be stored in a sealed container to prevent moisture, impurities, and air from entering. The container must be a specialized container to ensure its airtightness and prevent the mixing of moisture, impurities, acid and alkali substances.

Storage temperature: The storage temperature of thermal oil should be lower than its flash point, generally not exceeding 40 ℃. For synthetic thermal oil, if stored under inert gas sealing or isolated air conditions, its service life can be extended by 1-2 times, and it can even be stored indefinitely without deterioration.

Storage period: The storage period of thermal oil is generally 2 years, but it should be adjusted according to specific circumstances. During the storage process, its quality should be regularly checked. If any deterioration or abnormal situation is found, it should be dealt with in a timely manner.

Avoid mixing: Try not to mix different brands of thermal oil in the same container to prevent affecting the effectiveness of use.

The characteristics of high-temperature synthetic thermal oil include:

High temperature stability: able to maintain stable physical and chemical properties in high temperature environments, not easily decomposed or oxidized. It can withstand high temperature heat loads without significant changes or damage.

Excellent thermal conductivity: With a high thermal conductivity, it can quickly conduct heat and ensure the efficient operation of the system.

Low evaporation: Maintain a relatively stable liquid state in high temperature environments, reducing liquid loss and maintenance work in the system.

Good chemical stability: not easily reacting or corroding with other substances, able to operate stably in high-temperature systems for a long time.

Good fluidity: Appropriate viscosity and fluidity ensure even distribution and efficient transfer of heat in the system.

Low toxicity: Most high-temperature heat transfer oils have low toxicity and are relatively safe for human health and the environment.

Corrosion resistance: It can resist the erosion of some common corrosive media and chemicals, prolong the service life of the system, and reduce maintenance costs.
